In order for the Constitution Party to gain ballot access in North Carolina, we must submit over 59,000 valid signatures of registered voters to the board of elections. To accomplish this, we must use a specific form as outlined in the statutes of the North Carolina General Assembly.
We have, in accordance with those statutes, prepared a Ballot Access Petition form that meets the requirements of the law. It is available in hard copy by contacting our state office as indicated on this website.
Alternately, we are now making this form available from our website. It is in Microsoft Word 2000 format and it is password protected and read-only. The form must not be changed or we risk losing precious signatures.
To utilize this downloadable version, click one at a time on the links below for the Ballot Access Petition and the Ballot Access Instructions. You will be prompted to either view the document, or save it to disk. We recommend saving it to disk so that you may print as many originals as needed. We also recommend making photocopies to use in the field. When the Word document isd, you will be prompted for a password if you want to edit the file. Since we do not want anyone editing this file, you must click the Cancel button so you can view and print the form.
