County Organizations

Why county organizations?  -  To work effectively at the local level in North Carolina, our party must establish local party organizations in each of our state's 100 counties.  County party organizations will focus on registering voters in their counties, monitoring local happenings, promoting the Constitution Party in the local area, and running local and state district candidates.  County party organizations can also be the eyes and ears of the state party concerning issues of importance throughout the state.

How can we organize a county party?  -  We have developed a presentation for groups who are interested in returning limited, constitutional government to our state and nation.  This presentation introduces the audience to the Constitution Party: its history, its platform, and its goals.  The presentation concludes by encouraging citizens to get involved in the cause for liberty.  It is at this point that a county party can be organized given sufficient interest and commitment.

What do I need to do?  -  Given that it will involve cost and time on the part of someone to go to your county, you must first make sure that there are sufficient interested people to justify the time and expense.  We recommend that you have at least a dozen people who are willing to meet with us and listen to our presentation.  You do not need to tell them all about the Constitution Party - the presentation and materials we bring will do that.

Where will we meet?  -  We leave that up to you.  If room and seating allows it, we can meet in a home.  Some churches are agreeable to allowing community groups to use their facilities.  Also, public libraries often have meeting rooms which may be reserved for this purpose.  According to the statutes of our state, public school facilities are to be made available to political parties for meeting purposes.  In any event, if you'll get the people together and have a meeting place arranged, we'll be there to do the rest.

How do we get started?  -  Very simply, call us, write us, email us.  Let us know you would like our assistance in getting a county party started.  You may not have the minimum number of people, yet, but if we know of your intentions we can set a tentative date for a meeting and get the ball rolling.
